The Association was established as a health and safety society in the year 1979 under the Societies Act No. of 1957 on the initiative of a group Gentlemen founders. They held the founding meeting and approved the society in the hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences Center SMC, which was attended by a number of people, during which the adoption of the Statute Society, and the election of the Board of Directors consisting of (9) members were:

1. Mr. Khalid Rashid Al Zayani (Head).
2. Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Nass (Vice President).
3. Mr. Hassan Roundup (secretary and the secretary).
4. Mr. Abdul Latif Janahi (Treasurer).
5. Dr. Mostafa El-Sayed (member).
6. Mr. Salman Celis (member).
7. Dr. Samir Khalfan (member).
8. Mr. Managed Messenger (member).
9. Mr. Abdul Aziz Bu Haji (member).

BHSS are very grateful for their work to make this society what it is today. BHSS has also re-registered as an association in 1991 under the law of associations, clubs and social and cultural organizations in the field of youth and sports institutions (21) of the year 1989, which is currently in force.
